GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

This school is a good school. Teachers are very caring towards their students and want to see them succeed. There are a lot of college prep course opportunities given and they will help you obtain an associates degree before graduating which is another great opportunity. One issue, however, is that there is a minimal amount of classes in comparison to other schools despite the college prep since Franklin Monroe is such a small school.

Monroe's Schools are not diverse at all. The teachers play favorites with there students. If you are failing the school does not offer any help or any tutoring. They have lost students transcripts causing them to repeat classes.

One of the best schools in Darke County. If we had to do it all over again, we would send our kids there again. Neither my husband nor I are from this area and we genuinely feel apart of this community.

My greatest schooling experience happened due to the teachings of Richard Ingold, Andy Zimmerman, and Andy McKibben

There are other small problems, but they are also present in current schools. As a student there, I can say almost none of what's be...

It truly felt like home. If there was a problem with your child, you received a phone call to address it in a timely manne...
