GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I have attended all 4 years of High School here in Arp Texas. I am involved in many extracurricular activities and clubs. Our sports are decent. It depends on the year. We have an amazing band and awesome directors. I wish the student body was closer.

I like the smaller size of the school, which allows for more one-on-one time with your teachers, and you get to participate in more activities than you would at a bigger school, though I do wish there were more options for the activities you can participate in.

It is a small school, around 200-300 students in the high school, therefore there can be lots of great connections with teachers. The teachers are supportive and caring. There are several dual credit opportunities available and an AP calculus class as well. Some of the teachers should not be teaching, and the school really lacks great communication skills. Overall, very good education with kind teachers.
