Ashland High School hosts many supportive teachers, but unrelenting students. The administration and focus on diversity and the arts needs improvement. School culture is overall negative and student group bullying occurs.

I appreciate that I had the opportunity to take advanced classes, as well as earn college credits in high school. I was able to get a head start by putting in a little extra effort.

Ashland is not a school for people who truly want to do well. The administration makes terrible decisions constantly, and it is not a safe place. Last year we had multiple bomb threats, many many fights, and a few shooting threats, as well as multiple drug busts. It is a terrible school.

I felt I was well prepared for college. I feel it is what you make of it, this school gives you the opportunity to excel and has caring teachers that will motivate you to do your best.
