I have really loved my experience at Boyd County High School. The staff has been very helpful with my studies and struggles. I had a little bit of anxiety coming back to school after Covid and everyone they made sure I felt safe and secure. I was on the varsity swim team for 5 years and loved it. I am now focusing on band and our band director has been the most inspirational person to me. He believed in me when I wasn't sure that I believed in myself and now I am confident in my concert performances and plan to continue playing my saxophone at Morehead State University.

Overall my experience was good. There were some schedueling struggles but they were resolved with the councelors help. I feel safe at school and always have something to work on to pass time. I would like to see more opportunities open up agriculturally.

BCHS is a good school with good teachers and administrators. The facility is excellent from the building to the sport facilities. School food can always improve everywhere.

Best school in the district! Also this website is wrong, our school offers more than just two career pathways. Some of the classes at our vocational school are marketing, nursing, early childhood, carpentry, auto tech, welding, animal science, etc. There are many opportunities at Boyd County to help...

Boyd County High School is ranked number one is test scores in the Region and has taken education to a whole new level. This is a great school district. A long awaited new high school is under construction. Our community will benefit greatly.
