I have really loved my experience at Boyd County High School. The staff has been very helpful with my studies and struggles. I had a little bit of anxiety coming back to school after Covid and everyone they made sure I felt safe and secure. I was on the varsity swim team for 5 years and loved it. I am now focusing on band and our band director has been the most inspirational person to me. He believed in me when I wasn't sure that I believed in myself and now I am confident in my concert performances and plan to continue playing my saxophone at Morehead State University.

Overall my experience was good. There were some schedueling struggles but they were resolved with the councelors help. I feel safe at school and always have something to work on to pass time. I would like to see more opportunities open up agriculturally.

My highschool is Boyd County Highschool in Ashland Kentucky. For the most part of my 4 years I enjoyed this school, they spend money on things the students need and have always kept it clean. The teachers there are very kind and have a very good and informative way of teaching us that I very much enjoy. They keep proper safety procedures and always make sure that they keep the students saftey and education first above anything.

Best school in the district! Also this website is wrong, our school offers more than just two career pathways. Some of the classes at our vocational school are marketing, nursing, early childhood, carpentry, auto tech, welding, animal science, etc. There are many opportunities at Boyd County to help...

Boyd County High School is ranked number one is test scores in the Region and has taken education to a whole new level. They are now opening a STEM (Science Technology Engineering Math) Academy to better prepare students advanced college classes. Also, students are now able to receive over 60 free c...

This is a great school district. A long awaited new high school is under construction. Our community will benefit greatly.
