My school has provided a good, well rounded experience. However, I have faced some struggles regarding accelerated courses. The access to higher level classes for all grades should be improved. In addition there should be more willingness to let academically driven students challenge themselves in ways and with classes that they choose.

I love the teachers at Ashland High School, how passionate they are about the subjects they teach, and how willing to explain and patient they are.

I found that the school was not supportive of students who needed extra help. If you were a neurotypical student that was able to handle life fairly well, then it was a decent environment. However, I have seen that for myself and other students with mental or physical health issues, their accommodations were quite lacking.

I wish zero was an option. We originally sent all three of our children to Ashland High School. Our son graduated in 2020 and his experience was okay. In fact back when he was a freshman or sophomore I felt proud to say he attended AHS. My husband and I have been big supporters of Ashland Schools fo...

Kids with learning disabilities or that need adjustments to curriculum, seem to not be considered much. It's a one size fits all method of teaching, and some kids are certain to fall through the cracks. It seems like a lot of the teachers and office staff can't be bothered with the needs of their st...

When deciding to move to Ashland, I did lots of research on the schools. At that time their schools seemed good but since moving here, they have failed many students.

I hate it. Unfortunately, it's the best option we have. Ashland has some nice ideals, but it is also pretentious and snobbish. Big fish in a little pond. Some really bright kids can do well there, and if your teen is heavily into the Dramatic Arts, it's a great school to launch their career.
