GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

The teachers are pretty good. Most have 15 or more years of experience and advanced degrees. They genuinely care about their students. I only give a B+ because the best English teacher, teacher overall, has retired and a new one is unknown. Overall the teachers push students to above their assumed ability.

We have the typical sport choices for a small rural school. We co-op sports with another school in our area and that boosts competition for spots sometimes. Extracurricular clubs are also typical, art, drama, Spanish, scholastic bowl, fishing, etc., and sponsors are energetic and helpful. Most clubs are very active in school and community.

It was a good experience. I made many friends is grade school and kept them for all of my school career. My school is small. Only 100 or so students in the high school. this environment was very conducive to help and mentoring with classes and encouragement from staff to be inovolved in activities
