GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Weston McEwen is overall a great school. There is a maximum of 300 kids that go a year. My personal experience was good, I had a lot of encouragement from the school to help me succeed. They didn't do a very good job in getting me there though, I did all of it with the help of my parents while the school encouraged me. Overall, a fairly good little school.

My overall experience at Weston-McEwen High School has been good, but it always feels like something is missing. Having such a small school means getting to know those around me really well and being able to get very in depth learning. However there aren't as many opportunities that I know larger schools may have which is always disappointing.

Weston-McEwen is a very interesting school and you can see that by looking at the school's mascot. This infamous mascot is called a TigerScot. What is that? Well, I didn't know either but it's a Scottie Dog and a Tiger. It's always a funny joke to tell people what our mascot is. I love not only the mascot but the community. The community is wonderful and very helpful. We have a wonderful FFA community here and it's helped me grow as a person.
