My experience at Ben Franklin Academy (BFA) was good. The teachers are really kind and helpful. You definitely feel at home at BFA.

I left this school my junior year because I knew I would not be prepared for college if i remained. I went to the school for 2 years and out of all of the graduated students about 7 are enrolled in college. Many students I know dropped out of college their first semester due to their lack of preparation. Ben Franklin Academy is grossly irresponsible for leading parents to believe that it is college prep. Their so called mastery program is anything but. I learned more my first semester senior year at a public school than I did in 2 years at Ben Franklin.

Helped prepare for college. By being given a full syllabus of all the work I had to do, I was then able to work at my own pace, much like college.

Went here and it was life changing definitely the best school in Atlanta. If you have a kid trying to find their place in a school this it it no matter the type of kid they will do great. The staff is basically one on one and knows and helps each students needs and want them to succeed.

We have two girls who both suffer anxiety and are highly gifted. Both thrived at BFA, as being able to go at their own pace and having access to many AP classes has been a godsend. My older daughter is now in her second year at Georgia Tech where she is an honor student on the Dean’s list. My younge...

I would never send my child to this school. Point Blank. Passing unprepared kids to be more talented kids' bosses is immoral and irrational.

Every student comes to Ben Franklin with their own story, and most are there because their previous school was not working out for them. We were drawn to BFA because my son's need for more rapid pacing in math and science was not being met (or allowed) in public school. While homeschooling provided...
