Nestled on the northwest side of Westside Reservoir Park, William M. Boyd Elementary School serves approximately 500 students from pre-kindergarten to 5th grade. The school opened a new facility on a newly renovated campus in 2017, including a state-of-the-art sound system in the gymnasium and cafeteria for the Boyd Elementary Choir. Following the renovation, the school offers open-plan classrooms and instructional spaces, an open courtyard featuring an outside amphitheater, and improvements from new video systems to new interior and exterior signage.
A part of the Atlanta Public School System, Boyd is a STEM-focused school with a core curriculum that includes math, science, social studies, reading, writing, music, art and physical education. In addition, Boyd Elementary School offers the English Language Learners program for non-English speaking students and an accelerated reader program.

Do not send your child to this school as long as the principal and assistant principal are there. They speak to people in the rudest way and think it's ok. I've written downtown on them several times and nothing has changed. I removed my child and you should to.
