The teachers are so cool and awesome. There is definitely a lot of drama because of the small school, but still awesome.

Our kindergartner started his first year in public school and though normally a super happy and playful kid, started coming home sad and depressed with no energy. That was exceptionally distressing to us and we quickly learned he was just really bored at school, and bored kids get in trouble it seems. We had a sense that he was gifted so we asked MIS to help and sure enough he scored in the 95th percentile and was qualified to attend. The difference was night and day, he was immediately coming home excited about his new friends and how much he loved the content he was being taught. As parents we were also impressed with MIS because they recognized he was doing math on a 3rd grade level, but was behind on writing so they used the time other students were doing math to catch him up on hand writing... while still giving him advanced math lessons to keep him engaged. I don't know how they manage to individualize/customize to every student like that, but wow. We highly recommend MIS.

Midtown International School is a great school for gifted learners, possessing great academics, and teachers who have work experience in the field that they teach. While there may not be a specific extracurricular or program already in place, MIS gives even students the freedom to create and build whatever their interests may be.

MIS is a great school. I have been going here for seven years, and throughout my experience I have learned how to think critically, analyze documents, problem solve, and apply concepts from the classroom to real-world problems. One plus to the small class size is the individualized relationships wit...

My daughter transferred to MIS last summer from a well-known private school in Metro Atlanta, and it was one of the best moves we could have made. At MIS, she found her tribe and started to thrive. I found that the school leadership was responsive and attentive to her needs and willing to meet to ad...

My kids love going to school here! I never have trouble convincing them to get ready to go to school in the mornings--they're always excited to go to class! The teachers here are great at developing meaningful relationships with the students and helping them succeed academically, emotionally, and so...
