Founded in 1973, The Epstein School, Solomon Schechter School of Atlanta, is an independent Jewish day school that offers STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics) and Hebrew language programs to its 450 students. Ranging from preschool (three months and up) through 8th grade, the school offers an innovative learning experience focused on academic excellence guided by Jewish values. Utilizing the latest technology and offering a broad range of cross-curricular learning, the school prides itself on teaching life skills and academics.
The Epstein School has been named a United States Department of Education Innovator and a Blue Ribbon School by the Department of Education. Today, the school is considered one of the country's best private Jewish day schools. In addition to academics, the Epstein Eagles participate in various sports programs that help children develop fitness, teamwork and sportsmanship.
Sports include volleyball, baseball, fast-pitch softball, cross country, ultimate frisbee, basketball, soccer, tennis and golf. At The Epstein School, students experience education through cross-curricular learning designed to inspire Jewish identity and nurture curiosity, critical thinking and creativity.

This school is back on top. I would highly recommend you visit. They teach in such a unique way that is miles ahead of many schools.

Unfortunately admission numbers struggling. Several teacher salaries cut (they do part time like 85%, etc) no feeling of permanence. Staff great to work with.

We had a great year at Epstein... the school is inviting for new families & I LOVE the one on one attention for students (even at age of 3!).
