I have two children that attend school in Atoka. I have been very pleased with their teachers. The facility is in terrible shape, but they recently passed a school bond to build a new elementary school.

What a difference a year can make! Our classrooms are to capacity which is a testimony to the quality of education and changes that were needed to make our school on top again. If we can get a new school building we will be unstoppable! Love Atoka Elementary School!!!

I think the teachers are extremely cliquish. Parents are really discouraged from being involved at all.I have tried to be very involved and feel as though I were a nuisance or bother, parents arent allowed in the classroom period. The doors on the classrooms are kept locked so there is no open door...
