GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

It definitely lacks in the diversity sector, though there are groups that have just been formed (DEI, trained by the ADL, and Students for Diversity) that are working to improve that. Most of the faculty are often generous when life hits you. They are good at what they do and will help you if you need it. Administration is rather lackluster when it comes to reporting things and people, and the social culture is hard to mesh into if you're not someone who's athletic.

My experience in auburn school district is a bit chaotic but overall it is good. I have lived in auburn my whole life and you can really tell when a teacher is passionate about teaching their students. I wish that auburn was more compassionate towards each other, if we came together we could tame the hate and violence going on in this world.

The school, while generally being referred to as above average, has an apparent mediocrity clear to anyone who attends. It is abundantly obvious that it has garnered its reputation as a "great school system" by appealing to the many white suburban families in the area. It offers an echo chamber for the many who would like to go back to the educational system of the 50s and 60s. Sadly, this view on Brown v. Board is not unique to the area and therefore this school manages to teeter at a three out of five stars.

This is a very good school. Good tolerance and behavior. Good teachers and staff membors. Good classes. Basically everything is good. They handle bullying really well or other situations. If there was a school to pick between this or other, it would be Auburn High.
