South Dearborn is a crazy school. I had no troubles with any students or staff but some of my friends had trouble with students. From minor bullying to full on harassment there's a bit t of all of that. The guidance counselors at the school are not really personal with you when you go and they won't help you unless it'll look bad on them. In my 4 years of going to South Dearborn I think I had one conversation with them the entire time. The teachers are the best part. They won't let you slack but they will be fun and try and help students who ask for help and need help. If it wasn't for the great teaching staff I would have moved schools. The after school programs are far and wide and after being in a few they are all great but student gov. The only reason for it is to have a glorified popularity contest. None of the things they say they will do get done and nothing comes from it. Anyway 8.5/10 school. Would school again!!

At South Dearborn High School, I enjoyed how personable the teachers were. My teachers always supported me and wanted the best for me. I also enjoyed the positive atmosphere that the school provided. I almost never found myself in hostile or uncomfortable situations. Whenever something was wrong, the faculty made sure to fix the issue, with one of the faculty's main focuses being the welfare of students.

I love the supporting staff members at SDHS! SDHS offers dual credit classes as well so you can earn high school and college credit at the same time.

South Dearborn was great! I was well prepared for college and was able to received my master’s degree in 5 years. My kids now attend SD and they are thriving!

School has had a high attrition rate where teachers have gone to surrounding schools for higher pay. If I knew now before moving to his district, definitely would have gone to East Central or Batesville.

My recent time at SDHS was awesome. As long as you are a motivated student, willing to learn, you'll excel at SD. The massive amount of dual credit classes they offer, along with the school's partnership with Ivy Tech, makes earning college credit easy and virtually free! Teachers want their student...
