I feel compelled to share my experience with Butler School in Avon. While Avon is a small town predominantly Caucasian, it's becoming more diverse, and I believe the teachers at Butler School need cultural training. The special education class also requires attention, as I don't believe they are receiving adequate resources. Several parents have complained to me about their Black students facing passive racist comments. White education is not Black education. Minority parents, I know the choices are limited, but be cautious of Butler School and others in the area. When you think you are sending your child for education, they might be having their self-esteem destroyed
