My overall experience at La Joya Community High School has been excellent. There is a club, sport, or activity to fit every need. There is a sense of community and belonging. You just need to get involved.

I have went there for 4 years so has my older sister and my younger brother we have graduated or will graduate and many others in my family will go there or have went there. I have many great memories have had amazing teachers the are willing to help and have met great people. Although it is not always sunshine and flowers I have lost many friends or have dreaded a class I have also met others or have had other classes that make up for it. I have had a great time and wouldn't choose another school.

La Joya is a great school but in my personal experience with my child attending, he has gotten into multiple fights with the special educated kids. I don't know if it is his issue or the schools on why they are all getting in fights with my son. The academics here are just straight up awful the teac...

The teachers in the school are nice but the people are not and they inflict dumb rules and certain color bathrooms for certain classes even if they are farther. d

This school is very unique in goods but also bad ways. As a new junior I can say it was alright but I ended up moving because of how students treat each other and how fighting is common here it creates a not so good atmosphere as well with many teachers being lazy at their jobs not all but some.
