Teachers are engaged, principal keeps parents updated. The only thing I would change is the Aftercare program. It could be so much better at a performing arts school.

we were locked up in prison and or middle school especially 8th grade. If you want a regular middle school experience please do not go here.There are fights and dysfunctional teacher- student relationships. DESA is a special place. It is one of two K-8 schools with an arts program for all students in the state of GA. The families at the school are extremely supportive.
