I've been going to BCCS since pre-k, so I've spent my entire life here. For the most part, it's a great school. Teachers are supportive and do their best to keep students on track. The school work is explained well, and as long as students put forth effort, it's easy to get a good grade. However, some teachers and other faculty show favoritism, and they don't hide it well. On top of this, the school is small and the highschool in itself only holds around 350-400 students. In regards to this small number, I think that diversity in the school is pretty good, but the ability for our school to host certain sports is limited. And finally, I don't suggest sending your kid to the school their entire life. Social circles form in elementary school, and if your child doesn't fit in, they won't have many friends. On top of that, the students will remember the weird things your child did well into highschool, making highschool life difficult. It's a great school, with balanced pros and cons.

BCCS has evolved into a good school. The school began in 2000. The student body has grown and the opportunities afforded to the students are ever-increasing. BCCS is a great option to our rural area.

Compared to the other schools Mitchell Co has to offer, the education is unbeatable; the other schools are sub-par in general, & Baconton is the best choice.
