My experience at Woodlawn so far has been a positive one. I am in the early program so I now currently spend much more time at the community college but in my freshman and sophomore years I was at school all day and I was happy with the environment. The worst parts of going to Woodlawn are the fights but I've avoided being anywhere near them while they are happening. I'd like to see some of the culture change but that's a hard thing to do and would require a lot of parent involvement

I can only describe my experience at Woodlawn High as school as great. After coming to America i had really big expectations of what high was in America, despite not being what i had in mind Woodlawn High treated me with great care. Teachers made sure i was learning and was ok , i had friends and really never had any problems. In conclusion it was really a great experience.

Woodlawn high school have truly given me the "high school " experience that I always dreamed of. They are like a family you have people that are there for you when you are going thru anything personal or anything educational. Woodlawn have really shown me what's it's like to have help and have people there for you even when it's others at there lowest and don't have the right mind set Woodlawn will not let nobody walk outside knowing they haven't did the best they could have to help anyone there. There sports clubs are so different and challenging but I love a good challenge at Woodlawn. Waking up and having to leave my family for 8 hours was kinda sad but it's like I never left then because I walk in to a bigger home with cool teacher a good principal and all the other staff that's there and vary caring I have been going ti Woodlawn for 3 years going in to my last year and I'm proud ti be a Woodlawn warrior. Can't wait to see what the best year bring me at Woodlawn high school. #team

This school has been beautifully renovated. Administration is responsive and supportive. The principal is active and accessible. Woodlawn has a lot of hidden gems with new programs, sports teams, and staff. So much has improved here in recent years.

I attended 10th-12th grade and graduated in 1996. All 3 years we were given the answers for the Maryland State tests. The test answers are multiple choice 1 finger was A, 2 fingers B and so on. I can't speak on what goes on there today however, now as a parent it's been a priority for my children no...

I attended Woodlawn for 10th- 12th grade. I graduated in 2005. In my opinion Woodlawn was not a good school. I transferred from a private school and a lot of what was being taught in the 10th grade there were things I learned in middle school. A number of students, more than expected, could not even...

Woodlawn was a great experience for me. What I see is parents/guardians blaming adminstration and teachers for problems that students have. Woodlawn has always had a negative stereotype but was nothing like I've heard. The parents need to get more involved and build more positive relationships with...
