GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

There are many organizations and clubs for the students to be involved in. The teachers let the students know about each club.

The teachers at Barnesville High School are very helpful and knowledgeable. They care for the students and help them the best that they can. The teachers are available outside of the classroom if any student would need help. Most of the teachers try to use technology in the classroom which I think helps get the students involved more and helps them to understand the topic better.

The students are all very accepting toward already attending students and new students to the school. There are no challenges for students in regard to ethnic/racial diversity and/or sexual orientation.

The school protected a coach who put his hands on kids. The superintendent covered for this coach. The community won't stand up to unprofessional teachers and coaches. If you are not from here. You kid has no chance!

Barnesville schools have been great for my children. All have went onto success. The community can be anti-intellectual, but the teachers overall are excellent
