Well if I'm being honest coming to Olney was probably one of the best decisions me and my family made, reason being is that I as a student has learn't so much about myself and about other different cultures and majority groups of people. To be honest they was a period in my life at Olney where I got so tired of the environment it's probably due to the fact that I'm a boarding student and I also did miss home a lot which sucked but at the end of it all I had the Olney community which supported me regardless my attitude or my change of mood every time. So all I have to say regarding the school is I support everything they have going on the truth is coming to Olney isn't about just getting academic time it's more about living within a community where you learn so much that you thought as a person you would never un cover.

I really enjoyed my time at Olney Friends School. It gave me a sense of independence but also had good teachers watching over me. The dorm life was fun. I liked the various events in campus. I liked the country location and enjoyed hiking and biking. The current farm with goats and chickens is amazing.

It would be about 50 yrs ago today. I was an outcast , a hippie in the late 60's , 16 yrs old, attending a public high school on the Philadelphia main line. My parents were done with me. They shipped me off to Friends in Barnesville. My experience at Friends changed my life. The teachers, the sports, the girls. I could write five pages of wonderful times and the learning experience, out of this world at Friends. Not enough room here . I was still drafted three years later but now at 65 years old I can look back at all my success in my life and in my mind much of it has to do with how this school helped shape me. I wasn't the greatest or best student but from what I learned at Friends has lasted me all my life . Thank you Friends...Paul Smith
This is a party school with alcohol, tobacco, and drugs readily available to the students. I would not send my child there if I had it to do over again.
