Extracurricular activities are open to all students with a GPA that meets a specific set of requirements. Many students participate in either a club, volunteer activity, or sport at some point throughout the year, and many enjoy these opportunities. Teachers encourage involvement and make allowances for students' academic work when the extracurricular activities take up too much time.

There is not very high attendance to most athletic events at the middle school level.

The school is very safe; as a student with a medical condition who makes trips to the nurse's office daily for medication, I feel as though I am in very competent hands and the general consensus of the rest of the students is the same.

Overall great school. My son loves his teachers and have made great friends. Needs to enforce some discipline for some students

I had 3 children attend BMS- Prairie. All were well prepared for entrance into High School. Principal "gets it" and does an admiral job balancing parents, students and faculty.

Great school. Positive experience for my son. He has made great friends, teachers are friendly and caring. Friendly staff and everything seems organized. So far it has been a smooth transition for my son from NBE to Prarie
