The best part of my experience has to be the culture. Band and other extracurriculars make the school what it is. The worse part, for me, has been not fitting in socially. I would like to change the attitude towards learning that most of my peers have.

My overall experience with Bastrop High School is good, I made new friends, I made the varsity cheer team, I like the school spirit, and most of all I really like that we have supportive teachers

I have had a great learning session here, and also made a lifetime of friends. I would like to see improvement on staff and security. The school should also offer more hands on and onsite courses for improvement of academics.

Bastrop High is a pathetic school. The whole school system in Bastrop LA is pathetic because it is run by stupid people. Advanced placement kids went a whole year without a teacher. Unfortunately I have three kids that go here as I really have no other choice. A school especially a high school is a microcosim of the community in which iit is located. Bastrop is a small town consisting mostly of hypocritical "Sunday" Christians intolerant of the religious and non religious views...

I'm obviously not going to rate a school that both encouraged and then failed to stop (knowing full well that it was planned) to stop unconstitutional prayer during graduation.
