I have 7 children in the Bastrop public school system 4 of them at Bastrop High School. The academics are not that great the other day when talking to my 4th grade son he was talking about Continents and my high school students did not even know what he was talking about and started naming countries

It's been a great 4 years. My favorite part has been the culture of the athletic program. The coaches are very supportive and welcoming. The competitiveness of each sport stands out from other schools. We take effort very seriously and I am very thankful I was able to be apart of this program.

Bastrop High School is a small school compared to others but this does not affect the help that you can get from the teachers or anyone else. If you need help for whatever reason you can just walk in to the counselor office and they get you the help that you need.
