Great school for youth who want to grow. Youth have opportunities to play sports year around like golf and tennis. Strong ag programs, golf support, hands on learning. Limited resources at times. Expand career pathways and funding.

It's nice seeing some changes be made to our school currently we've been upgrading since my freshman year and it's nice to see that like there's changes being made for our school and our students not only that but we've made incredible academic rises and sport wise too. we have some great administrators and teachers we have awesome staff can't wait to see it improve more by the time I'm a senior, which isn't a year

Most of the teachers I have had experience with are teacher that have shown that they genuinely like their jobs as educators. The school has been actively working on improving itself from food to facilities. Some coaches that teach both sports and traditional subjects tend to show favoritism toward their athletes in the classroom and that is something that I would like to see change.Other than that I had a good time at this school.

I survived my employment at Bastrop High School by pulling the plug after a few months. Drugs run rampant at the school as well as out of control students. The worst experience. The office staff was horrible and rude, not to mention the school does NOTHING at all about bullying. They also do not follow 503 guidelines per the policy.
