GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Batesville has a lot of really unique opportunities for students to learn from off-campus experiences!

Batesville got me ready for the real world. It has classes and opportunities that allow students to get an idea of the job options are in the future. Some of the classes include mentorship, cadet teaching, and the career center. I have also loved being part of the varsity athletics at BHS. It allowed me to go to athletic events that I don't know if I would've gone to if I wasn't part of those sports. One thing that I would like to change is school spirit. This has been something that has been brought up a lot, but not a lot of people go to games.

I liked the opportunity to earn my Associate's degree while attending High School. I also like to opportunity to join and participate in clubs i.e. Robotics and to attend the Hawaii Prepartory Academy and study marine biology for two weeks.

I hate school as much as the next teenager does. But seeing my school with this low of a score breaks my heart a little.

My family removed my child from this school because of their lack of support for the child in gen. Ed classes with an IEP. The harassment that goes on in that school and covered up remarkable. On a positive note if you have a child in a special needs class I hear much more positive outcomes for them...

No one wants to learn, and the teachers don’t want to teach. They talk about how excited they are for the day to be over, sleep while they are supposed to teach, and teach with monotones voices no one wants to stay awake to. The social environment is absolutely horrendous and disgusting. You can’t w...

Teachers, do not do good in this school with teaching. They really only care about the money they are getting paid. Principals hand out disciplinary, like rich parents hand out name brand things to their children. Kids that go to this school are “preppy”, and rude, they have no self respect. The dre...
