The school overall is good in my opinion. The workload does get heavy here and there as the school's main purpose is to prepare its students for college. I think it does a great job in preparing students for college and it provides good resources and help in applying to college.

Baton Rouge High was my dream school since I first saw it, in like 6th grade. There is a lot of work but it's a great school and you will definitely make a good group of friends here. It's free dress, which I love, and the dress code is a bit strict but I'd rather that than uniforms. There is a lot of freedom there and it's really fun. The teachers are 50/50. Overall, I love this school, and I wish I could come back.

Going to Baton Rouge Magnet High School has been a very great experience for me. I have had a very pleasant experience with almost every teacher that I have had. The administrators are all very nice and fun to talk with.

The school has nurtured me into a very good student. The completeness is there but it is healthy. There are many programs that give oppurinites for a good future.

School made me have suicidal ideation and then relapsed severely. I have self harmed because of this godforsaken place.

If you want to go to a challenging school then this is your school. Social problems aren't there like other schools, however, we have academic stress. It's nothing like the movies and it's honestly not even worth it.
