We have been very happy with Mayfair Lab School. I currently have two elementary students who are thriving, even during the COVID pandemic. The teachers are so hands on and always so helpful and encouraging. Great curriculum with a well educated staff to teach it. Very much a small close knit community with lots of hands on parents and an active PTA.

I find this school challenging. The teachers can be tough, and the lunches aren't my favorite. There are moments when the schoolwork feels overwhelming, and sometimes I wish for a different approach to learning. I long for the freedom of online school, where I can explore at my own pace.

Mayfair has been a wonderful school for my children. It is a very nurturing environment with rigorous course material. Any questions are always answered on a timely basis. 3rd grade is the beginning of State exams. Very bad third grade teaches, several 3rd grade teachers left, new teachers are just angry people with no teaching ability! The teachers seem to show anger towards, dropping chrome books in class . Few bad teachers make the school look bad!

This is great public school in East Baton Rouge. School has small classes size. The teachers and staffs are very friendly. This is magnet education level, but my children find it very easy in math and english. I wish they have advance level for all objects that will challenge the advance students.
