I transferred to Scotlandville from Baton Rouge High. Long story short, worst decision ever. The environment and academics are not even up to the bare minimum. It needs a lot of improvement in many different aspects.

Scotlandville Magnet High School is a great school. I love that we can admire our culture and different cultures at this school. I also love that our teachers push us to be the best and try their best to help us. I do feel that they should allow us (students) to voice our opinions about our school more. We should be able to voice our opinions about the things that should change and things we feel we need as students in this school.

Scotlandville played a big part in my teenage years it helped me develop as a person . I got better in the classroom in outside of the classroom .coming from middle school it was a big jump going to scotlandville . In the city of Baton Rouge Scotlandville is one of its top 3 schools to attend to and me coming from a middle school with 200 kids and then going to scotlandville with 1,000 kids that kinds of brought some fear into me because I never been around those many students . Sports helped me out I met new people learned some interesting things . My experience was great from the Friday night lights games to the prep rally's I mean everything was fun there . I honestly don't know what's my worst experience there because nothing wasn't bad only thing I can say that had an impact of everybody was hybrid school because everybody couldn't see each other . Other then that there wasn't no bad memories at scotlandville to me . If you ask me to change anything I wouldn't change for nothing

This school is horrible. The children lack discipline from all angles. Teachers curse and are disrespectful. No Spanish teacher, yet Spanish is required to graduate. 17 fights in one day, cell phones out all day in class, and there is no respect all around. This place needs an overhaul! As far as th...
