In my opinion Tara is a good school not great but good. The teachers do their job well leaving me with a 4.25 GPA as a senior. The Principal John Hayman is great he listens to the kids and tries to accommodate all or ours needs as a whole.

I like and enjoy Tara High's Cyber Engineering program and Honors/AP program. What made me stay at Tara throughout my high school career was the Cyber Engineering program since it's connected and relevant to my major and future career. I would like to primarily see change in the Tara's resources and facilities since I feel as though Tara's resources isn't quite up to par like the other high schools such as Lee High, McKinley High, and many others despite the fact that a few of the higher ups are alumni from Tara.

Attending Tara High School for a total of four years, I witnessed and immense growth in the school as a whole. Our resources grew larger, teacher help and guidance grew stronger. However there is only so much a school can do. An administrator told me that "The school isn't a school at all until the students arrive, before they arrive it is just a building."

Staff is either too lazy or overworked but I’d say the latter. Seems like staff does not like to do their work and gets annoyed when asked to do so. My son curre...

Sit in the office for 5 or 10 minutes and you will see how unprofessional the assistant and principal are.

And yes, no one cares about anything -- nobody cares about sports or clubs. Many students can't even spell vegetable. 160 of 213 seniors are failing at least one class....Parents love having heart to heart convos with administrators as they're pulling their child out or getting them from suspension...
