GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Bay City High School is an overall decent school. They have nice school and are often trying to get new equipment and learning tools for us. The only reason I give 4/5 stars is because they have a pretty strict dress code. They do not allow hoodies, ripped jeans, sweatpants, or crazy hair colors.

I like the new dress code rule that we have it's really nice because everyone feel safe . it's stop other people from getting bullied because of the clothes they were . I feel more comfortable with the dress code rule , but there's something ii dislike about school is that they worry bout our dress code more then they worry bout our education it's sad

One of the best secondary principals I've ever seen is running this high school. He supports his staff, and is extremely student-focused. The extra-curricular programming is phenonmenal -- esp for a rural school! Sports programs, arts programs, career & tech programs, dual-credit/AP credit -- no oth...
