The teachers are very nice and supportive, and bullying isn't that much of an issue if you don't stand out very much. Schoolclimate, teacher retention, bullying, exclusion, shaming, and blatant ignoring of parents are all the daily norm. Sped students aren’t closing gaps with their lagging skills.

My daughter is in her second year at Bayfield Middle and is doing very well. For both years all of her teachers have been excellent. I think much of student accomplishment comes from parental support and expectations, however, the teachers and administration are very in tune with the student's needs...
