GreatSchools Rating

GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I really liked the teachers at the high school. The teachers were always very helpful when I needed help. However what should change is the inconsistency of the rules they need to be more consistent.

Beach High School is overall a very welcoming and friendly school. Though guidance from counselors could improve, help from staff and educators more than makes up for any confusion from students.

Overall my experience at Beach High School was pretty good all in all friendly people, staff, and good learning experiences. Some factors that are in most high schools such as, behind the back poking fun at others expenses and happens time to time. When someone new comes into an isolated community such as the one the school is located in it kind of disrupts others flow in the sense that they got used to what was going on and this new entity is something we will have to adapt to though hopefully not for long. despite this the school is very welcoming to others in and outside the community. which shows through our sports teams and our foreign exchange programs.
