My experience in beacon High school in the beginning was hard, I had a difficult time adjusting to the city of beacon. This area is very different from what I was used to. At this point, I could say things have gotten a lot better for me and I'm on a brighter path to a better future.

Beacon High School is an average school in the 845 area. It has a great theater program that does amazing things, but the sports department is nothing to be proud of. The students and faculty are a hit-or-miss but very inclusive.

Great experience but can use a bit of work in certain areas, overall challenging academic school but a great way to develop maturity for college.

The teacher and staff are constantly taking sides and all this school looks for is to try and pin a student to the corner and get him/her in trouble with whatever stupid “rule” they come up with. My daughter graduated from BHS with Honors in 2018 and went on to be on the Deans List student at SUNY New Paltz where she majored in Education and minored in History. She also won a NY State Chancellors Award for creating a history app of the Hudson Valley. Now she is attending Teacher’s College at...
