I've been in the Bedford district for awhile now, since kindergarten but Bedford high school is fun, the teachers are supportive and very educated, they make the classes fun and whenever we do projects they help us out as much as they can. The students are also supportive, nice and help out each other.

The system has a lot of unique characters but a lot of problems plaguing them badly. Things such as poor hygiene, poor staff, lack of equipment, lack of security, things of this nature make it somewhat embarrassing to say that you go to Bedford High .

In 1996 this was a very good high school and school district. I attended Bedford City school intermediate through 9th grade then attended three different High schools due to relocating issues. I was about two years academically advanced in comparison to my peers. I returned to Bedford to graduate.

Bedford school district has become a huge joke. I feel the teachers are babysitters, some not very good at that. but they are unable to put their knowledge to use and actually educate the students. I would have rated Bedford a high 3 during my first two years of attendance. By graduation ('98), it would have rated a generous 1, only because half a star apparently isn't an option. I witnessed firsthand the beginning of the end with the hoards of urban youth piling into/out of the RTA (city) bus...

I used to think Bedford High School was a good and safe place to send your kids to get a quality education. That changed in a hurry. This whole school system is pretty much a joke anymore!
