GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

When I was in school in the high school it was not as bad as I see it being in today's time. Which is another reason I want to be a teacher for the little children. Today kids have cellphones and a hundred billion other things that they take to school that they shouldn't, because it becomes a distraction and causes problems somehow and someway. I hope to see the kids giving more respect to each other and to their teachers especially because they are only there to help. I want the kids today to know more about the little things in life, and about the most important things. I want them to have all the resources they need to grow.

There are pros and cons to being at TMCHS. The school is very friendly, shows good sportsmanship during our sporting events. TMCHS has no groups or gangs, everyone is pretty equal in this school. Our school lunch program isn't the best and could use some improvement. However, the teaching level needs improvements. We don't have any help for our senior students to assist them with scholarship opportunities.

Turtle Mountain Community High School is very welcoming. I've been in the school system since the first grade and I've always felt comfortable. They accept you for you. If you need help to understand they help you in every way possible.
