Being a student at Bellaire is a very mixed experience. There is very little diversity due to it being in a small town in northern MI, and the teachers have not been great, but the actual students are for the most part great. Of course there's the handful that are grade-a jerks, but I've made some pretty cool friends.

I wish there were was more acceptance of the music/fine arts program.

Some people say that children don’t get taught enough, or what’s right at this school, but personally I say everything parents are putting in here is false. They amazing staff teach us everything we need to know and they also teach something that most schools don’t: they teach you how the world work...

It’s the best in the area but that doesn’t mean it’s great. Some teachers should’ve been fired years ago.

I think reading what former students and their parents wrote, pretty much says it all. If we have adults stumbling out into the world who do not know the difference between there/their/ and they're...(and countless other mistakes) what more really needs to be said?
