My first year in high schools was pretty rough, and honestly, I felt lonely during lunch and I sometimes didn't fit with the students. But my junior year is kinda pretty good, I got some friend, I learn to overcome my shyness and have conversations with my classmates. I learned how to be comfortable in my own skin. That isolation taught me how to be independent, which I don't think I would have learned otherwise.

Glades Central High School has a great AICE program that allows students to gain college credits. They also have great technical career courses available.

In my high school experience, it was a fun time learning about myself and others. I participated a lot in school. Our school is small so its very community-based. One thing I wish could change would be more cubs.

Worked at this school 40 yrs and saw little progress. Very little parental help. School gets students from middle school that can barely read.
