GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I used to attend South Jeff and i transferred here after some unfortunate circumstances. BHCS has changed my life. My teachers actually care about how i'm doing and it is very easy to get help when you need it. My only complaints are that they lack in safety and are somewhat redneck and many students are racist/homophobic. There was also an incident with administration preventing students in participating in a peaceful 17 minutes protest.

It’s not a school I would call it a family. Everyone cares for everyone and kids still use manners. Great after school programs overall great school.

This school is awesome. The administration is very responsive and treat each student as an individual. The teachers are all very caring. The school was featured in U.S. News and World Report as one of the top schools in the nation. There motto is: "We Grow Great Kids" and they do.
