Overall, I had a good experience at Belpre High School. I was very involved in the music and art departments. I am so thankful for my time in the Pride of Belpre Marching band. Belpre also has a great art department, including great ceramics equipment which can be rare in high schools nowadays. Belpre High School is in desperate need of new facilities but unfortunately, the community will not vote yes for the levy.

the building is very outdated. the lawton has had no air conditioning and the old gym is the cafeteria for both the "middle school" and high school students.

Belpre High School is home to a lot of good teachers who genuinely care about their students. The administration is also very caring, however the facilities that the school has to offer are outdated.

We moved to Belpre in 2008. Since we have been here, the school system has rapidly declined. When we first arrived, I met several teachers who actually cared, and would contact me asap if a homework assignment was missing, or anything else. Those days are long, long gone... Belpre is a nice quiet, small town, which a nice school system. We moved into the district from a much larger city and I'm thrilled to have a smaller school. Less violence, you actually know the students that you go to school with and there are a lot of extracurricular activities. I'm glad we moved...

For several years, a superintendent let this schol system go downhill. Luckily, he was replaced and things have been much better for the last few years.
