GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Belvidere is an extremely small school. The academics are pretty good, we routinely score above average on testing. Additionally, we generally have relatively large AP and Honors classes. Getting certain classes in a schedule can be difficult, as it is a smaller school, so many classes are only offered during one period.

I love the small school atmosphere, very safe and It grants me the opportunity to get to know nearly every student and teacher there.

This school is a complete joke, high drug use, plenty of fighting, a very promiscuous student body, and an administration that would rather bury their heads in the sand and pretend everything is just fine then admit they have lost control. The current board of educations members are completely incom...
