It is a great school and provides opportunities for all student's interests. It is a small enough environment that students are not just a number. The school works hard to provide new technology to the students. The students are encouraged to explore classes that are interests in potential career choices.

Dundy County Stratton has some goof teachers as well as some not so good teachers. What I mean by this is that some teachers are extremely involved with students and are always trying new ways to teach. Other teachers do not really do anything or do not care about their students. The basketball teams tend to be very good and the whole community is very supportive. However, extracurricular activities such as speech and much trial are not widely supported and do not have as many members.

Administation Handels situations incorrectly. Also, the administration does some illegal things but the school board will do nothing about it.
