Benton is a very community driven school that makes students feel like they're a part of something bigger than themselves. Teachers take the time to personally connect with students and build relationships. The only thing Benton is lacking is diversity and funding.

I liked the teacher-student relationships, you weren't just a number, you were a person. I liked the smaller pop. of students providing less comp. for class rank. I'd like to see the school budget increase so the academics could flourish.

The Special Education Program is like a bother to the teachers. They will push these students to "be normal". They don't seem to care about parents, their advice, or communication.

I have had 3 children graduate from Benton and another about to enter. I would not send my child to any other high school in town. The staff has always been there when I need questions answered.
