Located off of Bagley Road, St. Mary Catholic School in Berea offers preschool through eighth-grade programs, and children starting at age three are eligible to enroll. St. Mary's preschool offers two-day programs for three-year-old children, and three and four-day pre-kindergarten programs for children ages four and five years old, with the goal of preparing your child for their upcoming elementary school education. There is also extended day care offered Monday through Friday. Your child starts off with a five-day kindergarten school week. From there, first through eighth-grade programs include classes that promote technological proficiency, physical well-being, and above all, educational excellence. St. Mary boasts that most of its graduating eighth graders are qualified to be admitted into any high school of their choosing. And they’ll start their high school careers as well-rounded young people, as it’s a goal of St. Mary to graduate students who are both self-reliant and hold strong moral values. The cost of tuition for one child is estimated to be $5,263.00 per year, and the school offers financial assistance when needed.

We love SMS. We transferred our daughter midway through 2nd grade( she is now in 8th grade). This was the best move our family could have ever made. The school has an amazing community of people that truly care the students as well as each other. SMS truly is a blessing from God.
