GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Oak grove is a good school. They just don't teach out to seniors or offer and kind of help for college ready stuff. You have to go to them and they take forever to help or reply to you. Not very knowledgeable about college information in the counselor office. She was no help at all.

I like small schools personally but I think it would be hard for someone who has not grown up in the school system. Everyone knows everyone and when you are new it is extremely to be open with new people. Most people there are welcoming and open but some are not.

I've gone to Oak Grove my entire life and I've gotten a great education. You get out of this school what you put into it; if you're willing and ready to work hard, you will do great things. The teachers are excellent and more inspired than ever to teach.

My daughter attends OGHS and has done great work. Above 30 ACT with above 4.0 GPA. These teachers are doing something right.

This school is such a joke. The only teacher I have had ACTUALLY TEACH ME was the 8th grade math teacher. This school is good for the kids that are gonna work on a farm or at Mcdonalds.

I am a student at Oak Grove, and I highly recommend parents not send their children to this school. I should point out that many students who graduate from Jefferson County schools with honors are not successful in college. Many teachers are compassionate, but others spoil what good those teachers d...

We don't do much and there's only a few teachers that actually teach. Middle school part was good but everybody I know who is in college and graduated from oak...
