GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

While at Okaw Valley I was able to prosper in my pursuit of academic success. Friends were pretty much family there and I will always think back on the great times I have had there.

My experience so far at this small school allowed me to be close to the top of my class and be somewhat close to the people I am enrolled with. The classes I am put in are not the biggest and that is not a bad thing. When you know everyone you work with you will work better overall and seeing that in our school is just amazing to put in test. I have always had a small class and the school is a max of around 200 kids usually in the high school. I do not know what makes this school unique in the long run because I do not know many experiences with other schools. Our school treats each other as a family and this year we brought down the failure rate by just coming together like a family and a little competition to egg some of the people on. This school is unique in my eyes for just my experiences and no other school could be the exact same as this one.

The administration itself has admitted that they are behind in math, so their sol...
