Choosing to attend Detroit Country Day is one of the best decisions I made. This school is challenging but worth it. It is preparing me for college and real life. The students and administration are amazing.

Given many opportunity's through academics and athletics. Very diverse group of students. Faculty is kind and productive along with administration. Administration could be more involved in student life.

They advertise 8:1 student class size for lower school students, especially for pre-k and kindergarten and 1st grade. Not true. More like 16-1. There is no support for kids and emotional wellbeing as advertised. You would think for 30k+ a year for 16 kids they could add class coaching for smaller ki...

DCDS is a great school that offers many opportunities and its curriculum is rigorous. But there are mean and rude kids here compared to the public school where we came from. Curriculum is comprehensive and the facilities are the best you will find in the area. I would not recommend the school if you have African-American boys. Two of my sons attended from 6-8th grade.
