I can confidently say that Shore more than prepared my oldest for high school in terms of both academics and her ability to self advocate for her needs. She is confident when speaking with adults and truly loves the learning process. Shore's use of the Harkness tables, and attention to teaching students the essentials of being an active learner leads to empowered and driven students who can think out of the box and support their views with facts.

Shore Country Day School is a unique yet outstanding school that allows me to reach my full potential as a student. It is a fantastic way to introduce your kid to elementary school, or middle school.

Shore has been through a bit of a bumpy time with a leadership transition, but the school is STRONG and AMAZING!! It's the teachers that make the difference -- Shore's teachers are long-tenured and lovely. They really know my children and have worked beautifully with our family to help our children grow into impressive students. If you're looking for a great school on the North Shore, Shore is it!!

Our family has been at Shore for four years, and our experience has been outstanding. Every day, our child jumps out of the car excited to go to school. Starting in the PreK program, he developed a genuine love for learning, which was nurtured in a fun and age-appropriate way from a very young age....

The grass is greener elsewhere- at least for now... Toxic families that make demands, threaten their contracts if they don’t get their way and many that talk poorly about other children and families quite openly. Not an healthy environment - a bully, entitled culture.Hopefully new leadership can see...
