GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Biglerville High School has been a wonderful experience for me academically and athletically. I plan to attend WVU with Forensic Science.

The school is good but when being a dual enrollment student your gpa at the college does not count towards your high school how even when those credits are going towards your high-school diploma.

I had a lot of frustrations with this school. However, I don't think that any of my experiences were entirely unique to this school. Biglerville High School is a very small town school, and this is reflected in the culture of the school. If you are looking for more diverse opportunities, then a bigger school is better for you. However, the small size of the school lends itself to individualization and being able to connect with some of the fantastic teachers that the school has. Overall, I would say that if a student is willing to advocate for themselves than they will be able to get all that they can out of their experience at Biglerville High School.

I have special ed kids that go here. I have had nothing but issues with this school. Teachers don't want to help them when they need it. When I try and ask for help they turn away. I have a young grandson and his parents know what I am going through. They are scared to send him to this school

I went BHS and it was the worst years of my life. Most of the teachers were there just for a pay check and could have cared less if the students were learning. I asked some of the teachers for help and they told me to ask my parents for help. There were few class options and even fewer extracurricul...
