The Roeper School is a great place for those looking for a insular community where learning is driven by the student, the teachers for the most part are invested in the students educations and care a lot. There is a lot of special moments and opportunities you cannot get anywhere else. However, often times the school leadership makes decisions without the input of the students, teachers and parents which often causes strife.

A very good institution. Like any place it isn't perfect, but it handles its challenges well. I am very glad that I attended this school.

Roeper has been a welcome change for my middle schooler. Coming from public school, my unique middle schooler was put in a box for so long. He was misunderstood, judged, and squashed. Roeper has encouraged him to both ask and answer difficult questions, challenged him to guide his own learning, and accepted him through thick and thin. I am very grateful to have such an empathetic, diverse, and welcoming community that my son and I are both apart of now.

All schools should be like the Roeper school. Children are valued and partner with the teachers and administrators in their education. Academics are varied and strong but the social emotional development gained here is even greater. Highly recommend this school.
